I kind of assumed that they were going to like my theme song and then get someone that they prefer to score. "I'm the guy from Fall Out Boy and that's usually what people think of me as, but I spend all day, every day scoring. It's my day job, but no one really knows about it," Stump revealed. The animated series will not be Stump's first foray into music scoring, however. In addition to writing and performing the show's theme, Stump will also write the score for Marvel's Spidey and His Amazing Friends. Stump was unable to view any finished episodes of the upcoming animated show before he wrote its theme song, so he sought inspiration from the music of previous Spider-Man projects.
